iDesignfocusPi is a new business that has just launched onto the Internet amid millions of other businesses. iDesignfocusPi is my business and I trust me, but why should you?
My graphic advertising and design career began in the 80's in Southern California. I was fortunate to be hired as the first creative artist for a national sportswear manufacturer. Going forward I spent the next 8 years in the print media industry working for 2 equine publications. Moving to a rural Victorian Village in Northern California instigated the development of a necessary entrepreneurial spirit. Since 1997, I have been an online business entrepreneur.
My first online business, marketing my original products to a specific collector niche worldwide, was extremely successful until 2002.
My analysis of the change - top 3 reasons:
1] the market became overly saturated with weekend hobby artists and hundreds of thousands of free-hosted websites,
2] search engines changed algorithms to keyword auctions,
3] the downward economy.
For the past 10 years, I have been fascinated by online business and Internet marketing ploys while a wage earner in various industries: athletic franchises, art galleries, tourist shops, property management, and government Procurement.
In 2011, caught in the burgeoning unemployment crisis, I earned my degree in Information Technology focusing on Web Development & Design. And this year, I re-launched my past online businesses, along with some new endeavors. With the change in market trends, my high-end collectibles found a decreased buyer base, but moving into the instant download vista opened a new window.
